Job Description As a Armed Security Officer Elite Patrol Driver in Plano, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and team members. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and Level III Armed Certification. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed03:30 PM - 10:30 PMThur03:30 PM - 10:30 PMFri03:30 PM - 10:30 PMSat03:30 PM - 10:30 PMSun03:30 PM - 10:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with store leadership and/or first responders as needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales areas, receiving locations, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and observe customer, employee, and vendor activity for unusual conditions, reporting concerns according to site procedures. Maintain accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation while complying with applicable laws, company policies, and client requirements. Minimum Requirements: Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5+ years of armed security-related experience. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
