Our agile, reliable, and innovative team puts people first, delivers through teamwork, and acts with integrity.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $30.00 / HourJob Schedule:Day TimeMon 07:00 AM - 04:30 PMTue 07:00 AM - 04:30 PMWed 07:00 AM - 04:30 PMThur 07:00 AM - 04:30 PMFri 07:00 AM - 02:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an educational location.Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.Conduct regular and random armed patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with access control procedures, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to site leadership and/or emergency responders.Maintain required documentation, including patrol logs, incident reports, and daily activity reports, in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.Minimum Requirements:Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.Possess at least 5 years of security-related experience.Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
