Graphic Design Intern

The Danville Baseball Club is home to one of Virginia's most exciting summer baseball brands: the Danville Otterbots (proud members of the Appalachian League powered by Major League Baseball and USA Baseball). Located in Danville, Virginia, the organization's mission is to provide unforgettable, community-driven entertainment while delivering the highest standard of fan experience. The Graphic Design Intern will create the visual identity behind the brand's digital and print marketing, from social graphics to game day materials.

Internship Goals:

• Learn how design supports a small-market sports organization's marketing and revenue goals.
• Gain hands-on experience producing digital and print marketing materials on a consistent schedule.
• Develop a working relationship across marketing departments, including social media and email.
• Exposure to leadership responsibilities in:
  • Digital & Print Graphic Design
  • Content Creation
  • Email Marketing Design
  • Marketing Calendar Planning

Internship Requirements:

• Full-time summer internship from Mid-May to the beginning of August.
• Must be working towards a Bachelor's degree in graphic design, communications, marketing, or a related field.
• Must be able to work all events and game days.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (or similar design software) preferred.
