If you want an exciting career where you can develop and grow your career even further, then this is the opportunity for you.ResponsibilitiesDevelop skills in data, AI, and development areas including data warehousing, business intelligence, databases, and AI agents (Snowflake, SQL Server, Azure, Python);Build and maintain data pipelines under guidance using Extract, Load, and Transform (ELT) tools (dbt, Python, Snowflake, Azure Data Factory);Assist with AI-enabled solutions, including AI agent and LLM integrations and the data foundations that support them;Help collect, analyze, and document user requirements;Participate in design and code reviews and learn to apply enterprise data standards and best practices;Contribute to solutions by following the lifecycle process, which includes requirements gathering, design, development, testing, release, and maintenance;Monitor pipelines and help troubleshoot data quality and reliability issues;Participate in the software validation process through development, review, and/or execution of test plan/cases/scripts;Use AI coding assistants and agentic development tools as part of daily engineering work;Communicate with team members regarding projects, development, tools, and procedures; andProvide end-user support including setup, installation, and maintenance for applications released.QualificationsBachelor's degree in computer science, data science, or a related field;Internship or project experience in data or software engineering;Familiarity with dimensional data models and an awareness of the advantages and limitations of star schema and snowflake schema designs;Foundational ETL/ELT and reporting knowledge, with an interest in learning the underlying business processes and measures;Exposure to Snowflake cloud data warehouse and dbt transformations is preferred;Working proficiency in SQL; familiarity with Python is preferred;Familiarity with version control (Git);Familiarity with REST APIs;Interest in building with AI — LLM APIs, agent frameworks, or AI-assisted development tools;Knowledge of C# or Azure development is a bonus; andExcellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills.Medpace OverviewMedpace is a full-service clinical contract research organization (CRO) providing phase l-lV clinical development services to the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and medical device industries.
