Job Description Job Description Members of the SMT (Surface Mount Technology) Operator group are responsible for setup, operation and maintenance of SMT processes and equipment under guidance of the Production Supervisor. Responsibilities: Set up and operate SMT equipment Read process documentation and produce 1st pieces Inspect work and identify quality issues Perform hand component placement Maintain equipment and complete documentation Qualifications: Computer literate and comfortable with equipment software Able to stand and work on feet throughout the day Able to work independently with minimal guidance Knowledge of J-STD/IPC standards Knowledge of component identification and quality requirements Experience: 2+ years SMT, preferably with MyData equipment.
